To achieve the amplifier's extremely low-impedance output and high current capability, gain and balancing stages incorporate our hybrid technology, and a zero feedback buffer has been implemented for the output stage - also using semiconductors. The result is a preamp that works with any power amplifier on the market fitted with XLR of RCA phono inputs - and one that is uncritical about cable length.
High-precision balancing stages ensure the constant phase/ frequency characteristic of the symmetrical signals and keep the time difference between the "hot" and "cold" balanced outputs down to zero.
Gain is switchable between 0 dB and + 15 dB (with noise-free auto-muting function) to match the output of the preamp to the sensitivity of the power amp/ loudspeaker combination.
